The vision

Musha Mukadzi

A Shona saying, reclaimed. Musha mukadzi speaks of the woman as the foundation of the home. Martina is building a global speaking platform around a fuller meaning: when a woman returns to herself, the whole house and the generations after it feel the difference.

MushaShonaHome, the homestead, the place a family grows from.

My story

The nurse who became the teacher she was meant to be

My grandmother nicknamed me Nurse long before I ever wore the uniform. I had wanted to teach. It took a long road, a lot of holding everything together and a turning point I resisted at first, to see that the detour was a redirection.
