class=\"eyebrow\">My story<\/p>\n      <h1>From the wards to <em style=\"color:#E8C9A8\">the stage<\/em><\/h1>\n      <p class=\"lede\">A nurse of 34 years, a mother, a daughter of Zimbabwe living in the UK. This is the road that led me to speak my truth.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/section>\n  <section>\n    <div class=\"wrap\">\n      <div class=\"chapters\">\n        <div class=\"chapter\"><p class=\"n\">Chapter one<small>The nickname<\/small><\/p><div class=\"body\"><h3>They called me Nurse<\/h3><p>I was named after my aunt, who was a nurse, and my grandmother called me Nurse from when I was small. I wanted to be a teacher. Life took me onto the wards instead, and for a long time I carried quiet resentment about a path I had not chosen.<\/p><p>Words carry weight. Looking back, I can see how a name spoken over a little girl shaped the woman she became.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n        <div class=\"chapter\"><p class=\"n\">Chapter two<small>Holding it all together<\/small><\/p><div class=\"body\"><h3>Strong for everyone else<\/h3><p>I worked full time on the wards while raising three young children, running a business and supporting family across two countries. From the outside I looked capable and committed. On the inside I was quietly disappearing.<\/p><p>I had been raised to give and give, and never taught to receive. When I finally needed something, the people around me did not know how to give it to me, because I had never let them.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n        <div class=\"chapter\"><p class=\"n\">Chapter three<small>The turning<\/small><\/p><div class=\"body\"><h3>Asking for light<\/h3><p>One day I left an appointment holding a handful of leaflets, feeling lost. I remembered my mother's teaching and prayed for light. A teacher arrived with lessons I first resisted, because the familiar story felt safer than the new one.<\/p><p>Energy healing and transformational coaching helped me see how much I had been carrying across body, emotions, mind and spirit, and how to begin setting it down.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n        <div class=\"chapter\"><p class=\"n\">Chapter four<small>The redirection<\/small><\/p><div class=\"body\"><h3>The teacher after all<\/h3><p>The healing path made me the teacher I wanted to be from the start. What I once called obstacles were redirectors. Today I share what I have learned through talks, my podcast and Runyararo Holistic Wellness, the practice that grew from my own journey.<\/p><p>Runyararo means peace in Shona. My work is shaped by hunhu, the understanding that we become whole through one another.
